Plaskett Creek Campground

Plaskett Creek Campground in the Big Sur area 3 miles north of Gorda, California. This was a weekend trip to test out the new 2 dog – 1 man tent that I plan to use on the trip to Inuvik, Northwest Territories. Unfortunately the trip had to be cut short.

I the morning walk with Max and Zoe, the dogs were attacked by a chow mix. I checked out both dogs and the looked all right for the trip. But, after setting up I notice a wound behind Max’s right ear.

So at 4:45 pm I broke camp and headed back to Camarillo to see the vet. I was able to make a cell phone call to the vet just before the office closed at 6 pm. Max did not require any stitches and is doing fine now.
