Today was a very short distance day, only traveling 135 miles, which is about one-third of the way to Inuvik. A lot of stops and pictures. The area is similar to the Colorado Rockies at 8,000 to 10,000 feet, only here the elevation is 2,000 feet. The sign at the beginning of the Dempster Highway said both ferries were running so we should be into Inuvik by Wednesday.
